The Salvation Army by my place always has 40% off sales on Fridays. After a long week of work, I usually like go there with my sister and look for great deals. One thing that I love about the Salvation Army is that they always have sales there! This is my favorite steal! Got this Hermes bag for only $10 from a store near the pier. :) I saw this bag on ebay for $700+. I'm so excited to use this bag. It's still in great condition too!
Enjoy :)  Got these Ray Bans for $60 at Marshalls. I've been wanting to get a pair of Ray Ban sunglasses for a long time and I'm happy that I finally found them! I really like these sunglasses a lot especially the crazy design on them.
I guess they were "out of season" and so the price for them dropped dramatically. Yay for "out of season" stuff! I'm sorry I haven't been updating!
In order to get to my blog, I have to sign in through FB and I deactivated it a week ago. Now my blog is back in business! Kind of late, but these are some of our buys from different Goodwill Stores and Salvation Army stores around the bay! Enjoy :)  Made of glass with gold leaf. My sister bought this antique Korbel sign at an estate sale for $45. If you don't know what Krobel is, it's a winery up north in the Sonoma area. I went on a Korbel winery tour last year for my 21st birthday. I love learning about the histories of the each winery. This one is especially special because they are allowed to use the term "champagne" while other wineries use "sparkling wine". The reason behind this is that they use the same methods as Europe (I think France, more specifically) to make their champagne and also use the same kind of grapes. They are also known for their Brandy too (mix that with some Coke and you're good to go!).

I really like jewelry that are super blingy and statement makers. (If you can tell.) All of these pieces cost me about $17.50. Super inexpensive and the quality is amazing! I'm surprised at how long these pieces have held on together for so long. Hope you enjoy them! :)             This is Linda's jewelry collection. Isn't it beautiful? :)
I love all the pieces that she bought especially the Cameos. I also love the mirror plate too. It's a beautiful piece when you want to display your jewelry. Also, my sister made the earring hanger/frame (refer to last photo). You never know what you'll find at an estate sale! Look at all this furniture!
These are all my sister's buys at estate sales from the Bay Area to the Central Valley. They are all vintage and in really really good condition for a super good deal too. I can't wait to have my own place and decorate it with vintage pieces like these. Find estate sales in your area by looking on craigslist.com! and bring cash! They don't take cards. |
